Metal Museum

Last Friday we had a very special treat. A blacksmith from the Metal Museum came and did a demonstration for the boys. They loved it and so did all of the teachers. I really did not know that much about blacksmiths and what their tools were called so I was learning right along with the boys. If you are ever looking for a place to take your family on the weekends they do demos at the museum every Saturday. Easter

This is a little late , but here are a few of the pictures of the boys from the Easter Egg Hunt. The boys had a great time hunting for eggs on the playground.

Marshmellow Math

Last week we did a really fun activity with marshmellows that the boys loved. I put marrshmellows and toothpicks on each table. Then I told them their job was to use these two things to build shapes. They had such a great time doing this, and it was a great way to teach them 3-D shapes.
